How to Organize A Dorm Room

Hey there!

August is here, already! And you know what that means…it’s back to school time! Time to either start shopping for new clothes, backpacks, lunch boxes, mini fridges, or dorm supplies!

There is so much prep (and thinking) involved with back to school stuff. From thinking about daily routines changing, how to organize your house for all these papers coming in, organizing your own schedule for new things throughout the school year, or even setting up zones in your house for homework. If you would like to see more information on any topic having to do with back to school CLICK HERE for all of my previous blog posts!

I really thought I should start this month off talking about the college kids. I feel like I forgot about them last year! So this post is going to be all about how you can save space and set up a dorm room to be organized so hopefully your child/young adult will be able to focus and be more productive while away (since you won’t be there all the time to help them!)

Some of the benefits of being organized or having an organized room are, like I mentioned above, is that being organized will help with productivity, concentration, and even time management. If there is a place for everything, they will not have to spend extra time looking for things to get ready in the morning!

I’m going to break down this post into different sections or spaces for a dorm room and then give you product ideas for each space (depending on the layout of the dorm room).
